One customer journey, connected to the business behind it

Customers should be able to book a service, check a request, find relevant information or manage an account without repeatedly calling your team. Internal staff should see the same underlying status and know what needs attention.

Colorbull starts with the actual customer tasks, the source of availability and account data, and the responsibilities of the people who will operate the service. We then scope an accessible browser-based application or progressive web app around those needs.

How the service is designed

  1. Accounts and permissions

Clear customer and staff roles, protected access and understandable recovery paths.

  2. Appointment and capacity logic

Availability, confirmation, cancellation and exception handling defined before a booking goes live.

  3. Connected service requests

Customer requests carry the context needed for staff follow-up rather than starting another disconnected inbox.

  4. Mobile experience

Designed for browsers and installable web experiences when the use case supports them.

  5. Payments and notifications

Optional integrations scoped against providers, consent and the actual transaction flow.

  6. Operation and support

A separately purchased management service can cover monitoring, updates and defined operational response.

What a client portal can include

An initial portal may cover secure account access, a small number of customer tasks, a service request or booking journey, and the relevant staff handoff. We define the first release around the activities that consume the most customer and employee time.

Integrations such as third-party scheduling, accounting, payment gateways and external identity are evaluated and quoted against their APIs and operating responsibilities.

Typical first-release functions

  • Account access and appropriate roles
  • Appointment or service request submission
  • Confirmation and status visibility
  • Staff notification and exception review

Price the actual application, not the number of screens

A scoped client portal or booking PWA starts at $5,000. Complex scheduling rules, integrations, transactions, data migration and custom role models increase the agreed implementation price.

Application operations can be contracted separately from $350/month. Hosting and provider consumption are defined in the service agreement; website management does not include application hosting.

Who operates it after launch?

The client remains responsible for policy choices, approved content and business decisions. Colorbull can take responsibility for the specified software operations, including monitoring, release testing and a documented support path.

A portal can be operated alongside a Colorbull website or integrated into an existing supported web property. There is no mandatory website rebuild or website-management upgrade.

The operating model

Scope, ownership and the next step

Your portal is a separate application contract. A focused implementation starts at $5,000 and managed operations, if selected, start at $350/month. Website construction and management remain independent.

We agree availability ownership, customer access, notices and provider costs before release. A portal can complement an existing site without requiring a redesign.

Buyer questions

Does this need an App Store listing?

Not necessarily. Many booking and client account experiences work better as a browser-based or installable web application. Store distribution is a separate platform decision.

Can it connect to our booking or CRM provider?

Where the provider supports the necessary operations and access, we can scope the integration. We confirm the exact data flow before quoting.

Can we cancel app management without cancelling our website?

Yes. Website and portal operations are separate service agreements. We will explain any hosting or technical transition needed if either service changes.

  1. What does a client portal or booking app cost?

Start with the customer tasks, availability rules and real system connections. Those determine your application budget far more than the screen count.

  2. How much does a business mobile app cost?

The price of an app is set by its journeys, its integrations and what happens after launch, not by the number of screens.
