Who this covers
This policy applies to colorbullagency.com (the “site”), operated by Colorbull Agency (“Colorbull”, “we”, “us”). It covers information collected through the site and through the email address published on it. Work we perform for clients is governed by separate written agreements, which describe how client information is handled in that work.
Information we collect
Information you give us
You choose whether to send us anything. The site has three forms:
- Assessment request, your name, work email, company, the website or app you want reviewed, and optionally your role, what you want to improve, your current priority, a likely engagement range and any context you add.
- Contact form, your name, email, optionally your company and website, the topic and your message.
- Project planner (/start/), your name, work email, company, and optionally your role and industry; the website or app concerned; and your answers about the project, goals, current environment, timing, engagement range, decision process and any notes you add.
Please do not send passwords, access credentials, payment details or sensitive personal information through the forms. The planner asks for none of these.
If you email us instead, including through the email fallback the forms offer when online sending is unavailable, we receive whatever the message contains, and your own email provider processes it too.
Campaign attribution
When you arrive, the site records the campaign parameters in the address you arrived on (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term), the domain of the website that referred you (not its full address), the first page you viewed and the time. This is kept in your browser’s session storage for that browsing session only, and is sent to us only as part of a form you choose to submit. Values that look like an email address or phone number are discarded.
Privacy choices
Your choice about optional analytics and marketing measurement is stored in your browser, as described in the Cookie Policy. It contains only those choices, a policy version and the time you made them.
Technical information
Like any website, the site is delivered by hosting infrastructure that processes technical request information, such as IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the referring page and the time, to deliver pages, keep the service reliable and protect it against abuse.
Measurement
The site generates first-party interaction events (for example, that a page was viewed or a form was started) inside the page. These events never contain your name, email, company, the addresses you type or anything you write in a form. At present they are not sent to any analytics or advertising provider. If we add such a tool, it will only run for visitors who allow the relevant optional category, and we will update this policy and the Cookie Policy first.
The site does not load third-party fonts, embedded videos or social-media widgets.
How we use it
- To respond to you, to reply to an assessment request, message or project brief, and to prepare for and hold the conversation you asked for.
- To deliver services you request, if you become a client, to scope and carry out the work under the agreement that applies.
- To operate and secure the site, to deliver pages, detect and prevent abuse and spam, and keep the forms working.
- To understand which channels bring inquiries, using the campaign attribution sent with a form you submit.
- To measure and improve the site, only with your consent where optional analytics or marketing tools are involved.
- To meet legal obligations, where the law requires us to keep or disclose information.
Agreeing that we may use your details to respond is not a mailing-list sign-up. We do not add you to marketing email because you used a form.
Service providers and sharing
Service providers may process information on Colorbull’s behalf, for example, hosting and content delivery and email delivery. Website forms are currently sent through a serverless submission endpoint configured by Colorbull, which delivers the submitted details by email to hello@colorbullagency.com. The launch submission bridge does not create a CRM record. Service providers may use the information only to provide their services to us.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, to protect rights, safety or security, or as part of a reorganization or transfer of the business, subject to appropriate safeguards.
We do not sell personal information, and the site does not share it with advertising platforms for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Planner recommendations
The project planner shows a preliminary direction, such as a Managed Website or an assessment first, produced by fixed rules applied to the answers you give. It is informational only. It is not a quote, it does not decide anything about you, and a person at Colorbull reviews every brief before recommending scope. The engagement range you choose is recorded for the conversation and does not change the direction shown.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law. Inquiry details that do not lead to a working relationship are not kept indefinitely. Session attribution in your browser is cleared when the browsing session ends; your privacy choice stays until you change it or clear your browser’s storage.
Security
The site is served over encrypted connections, forms send information only to endpoints we configure, and form submissions are delivered to Colorbull by email. We limit access to inquiry information to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Where it is processed
Colorbull works from locations in more than one country, and our service providers may process information in other countries. Where information moves between countries, we take steps intended to keep it protected as this policy describes.
Your choices and rights
You can change your optional-measurement choices at any time from Privacy choices. Where your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, optional categories stay off unless you turn them on.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict some uses, to receive a copy in a portable form, to withdraw consent you have given, and to complain to a data protection authority. Rights vary by jurisdiction. To make a request, contact us as described below; we may need to confirm your identity before acting on it.
Children
The site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We will update this page when the site or our practices change, and revise the “last updated” date above. Material changes, such as adding an analytics or advertising tool, are reflected here before they take effect.
