Two layers of pricing

  1. Operate

Layer one, the operating relationship. A Managed Website or a Strategic Digital Partnership: the property is built, then operated on an ongoing managed base.

  2. Grow

Layer two, growth capabilities. SEO, local visibility, content, paid and social acquisition, account-based marketing, conversion, lifecycle, creative, automation and analytics, added on top of the base as the business needs them.

For established businesses

Typical fit
  • Established businesses whose website is their primary credibility check
  • Professional, advisory and service firms that win work through search, referral and reputation
  • Organizations replacing an aging platform site that nobody is responsible for
  • Teams that want predictable operating cost instead of periodic rebuild projects
What the managed base includes
  • Infrastructure and production oversight
  • Uptime, security and technical maintenance
  • Governed updates and deployment
  • Routine business and content changes within defined scope
  • Form and lead-routing health
  • Analytics and measurement integrity
  • Search Console and indexability monitoring
  • Technical SEO hygiene
  • Performance and accessibility monitoring
  • Broken-link, metadata, schema, sitemap and robots health
  • Minor UX corrections and continuous operational improvement
  • Reporting and issue detection
What moves outside the base
  • Search growth programs, content production and authority building
  • Paid media management, media spend is always separate
  • Structured conversion testing, lifecycle marketing and automation builds
  • New sections, templates, integrations or features beyond routine change
  • Bespoke application engineering, large migrations or complex stakeholder processes, these move the engagement into strategic scope
How growth services are added

Growth capabilities are added on top of the managed base and scoped to the objective. They can be started, expanded, paused or changed without rebuilding the underlying relationship.

How growth services are added

Growth capabilities are added to the strategic base as programs with their own objectives, and coordinated through the same roadmap and reporting.

Add the capabilities the business needs.

Search, content, paid acquisition, conversion, lifecycle marketing, creative and automation are added to the managed base. They can expand, contract or change as priorities change without rebuilding the underlying relationship.

Buyer questions

Why is managed service required?

Because the build and the operation are designed as one system. The implementation price assumes the property will be operated inside the same governed production and maintenance model it was built in. Without that, the build would have to be priced and structured as a standalone handoff project, the model that leaves websites neglected a year after launch.

What is included in the monthly base?

Managed operation of the digital property: infrastructure, security and maintenance, governed updates, routine content changes, form and lead-routing health, measurement integrity, Search Console and indexability monitoring, technical SEO hygiene, performance and accessibility monitoring, minor UX corrections and reporting. The full list is above under each operating relationship, and the Managed Site Standard sets out what each of those areas should mean in practice.

Is SEO included?

Technical search health is included. Search growth is an additional capability. The base keeps the site crawlable, indexable, fast and correctly marked up; a search growth program adds demand research, content, authority and competitive work against defined objectives.

Can we add marketing later?

Yes, that is how the model is designed. Growth capabilities are added on top of the operating base when they become a business priority, and they can expand, contract or change without rebuilding the underlying relationship.

Can we use our existing website?

Sometimes. If the current site is technically sound and on a platform we can operate responsibly, we can assess it for onboarding into managed operation. Often the assessment shows that rebuilding inside the managed system costs less over time than stabilizing an unstable platform. We will tell you which applies after looking at it.

Do we own the website and core assets?

You own your domain, your content, your brand assets and your data. Ownership of design and code deliverables is defined in the engagement agreement before work starts, and the transfer path is documented so it is never ambiguous.

What makes a project strategic or custom?

Bespoke application engineering, logged-in or product functionality, unusually complex integrations, large migrations, multi-market or multi-language estates, mobile applications, extensive stakeholder or procurement processes, or requirements for original research and custom UX testing.

Can Colorbull work with internal marketing teams?

Yes. Many clients have internal marketers who own messaging, campaigns or content. Colorbull operates the property and adds the capabilities the team does not have in-house, with clear ownership of who does what. Strategic partnerships include stakeholder coordination for exactly this reason.

Are ad budgets included?

No. Media spend is paid to the advertising platforms and is always separate from Colorbull fees unless an agreement explicitly states otherwise.

What happens if the relationship ends?

We hand over what you own, domain access, content, assets and data, along with the documentation needed to operate or migrate the property. How code and infrastructure are transferred is set out in the agreement at the start, so ending the relationship is an orderly process rather than a negotiation.

See what we would change.

Start with a focused assessment of the property you have now. We look at the experience, search visibility, technical condition, conversion path and the opportunities that matter most before recommending scope.
