An automated badge does not make a site accessible or legally compliant

Automated tests can identify some technical issues, but users navigate with keyboards, assistive technology and varied devices in ways a scan alone cannot reproduce. Privacy compliance also depends on what information is collected and the actual legal and operational context.

Our assessment distinguishes tested observations, potential exposure and changes requiring legal advice. We do not sell a blanket compliance certificate or a cosmetic widget as a substitute for substantive work.

How the service is designed

  1. Accessibility review

Keyboard, focus, interaction, readability and relevant assistive-technology checks.

  2. Structural semantics

Forms, labels, headings and media alternatives reviewed against user tasks.

  3. Privacy mapping

Data collection, consent, tracking, access and retention practices considered.

  4. Human validation

Relevant barriers and high-impact journeys reviewed by people.

  5. Remediation planning

Actionable work items with priority, evidence and scope.

  6. Ongoing review

Optional periodic re-assessment as content and features change.

Scoped, human-reviewed evaluation

An accessibility and privacy assessment starts at $2,500. We define which pages, devices, tasks and privacy controls will be tested before work begins.

Findings include observed failures, possible consequences, a prioritized correction plan and uncertainties that need specialist review. A report is not a legal compliance guarantee.

Correct what the assessment finds

Remediation begins at $3,000 for an agreed set of changes. Complex application journeys, third-party components and legal drafting are not assumed to fit that starting scope.

Periodic additional evaluation and evidence reporting starts at $350/month, independently selected from website hosting.

Professional standards still apply to every Colorbull build

We do not charge separately for fundamental accessibility, semantic or privacy foundations that should have been part of the website we agreed to build. The dedicated assessment provides deeper evidence and independently scoped review.

Legal compliance opinions must come from appropriately qualified counsel in the applicable jurisdictions.

The operating model

Scope, ownership and the next step

A human-reviewed assessment starts at $2,500. Agreed technical remediation starts at $3,000, with optional further review from $350/month.

We describe tested barriers, relevant evidence, implementation boundaries and questions requiring legal counsel. A review or widget does not guarantee WCAG conformance or compliance with every privacy law.

Buyer questions

Does an accessibility widget make a site compliant?

No. Overlays cannot replace accessible markup, user testing, usable controls or human remediation.

Can you certify GDPR or ADA compliance?

No. We can assess technical practices and implement agreed improvements; legal conclusions require counsel familiar with your business and jurisdiction.

Can we request an independent assessment?

Yes. We can evaluate an existing site without requiring a Colorbull hosting or redesign agreement.

  1. What does ongoing website management cost?

The monthly cost of keeping a business website healthy, current and improving, and what separates real management from a hosting plan.
